A FORMER public house, located in Feenagh village, is to get a new
lease of life.
This week's Limerick City and Council meeting heard that it is intended
that the premises will be converted into two residential dwellings. It
will then enter the rental housing market.
The Council meeting heard of the proposed disposal of the property to
Lisballyhay Trading Company in the sum of €75,000. The property is
derelict and in need of complete refurbishment works.

The site comprises of a two-storey former public house and surrounding
land of around 0.23 acres.
The property and surrounding land have been vacant and in a derelict
condition for a number of years. The former pub was entered on the
Derelict Sites Register in November 2022. Limerick City and County
Council acquired the building compulsorily in January 2024.
The purchaser is acquiring the property with full knowledge of the
derelict site notices to complete the appropriate works so that the
property is delisted from the Derelict Sites Register.
