Took a while to see. Found the star pattern easy enough, but the star itself was quite faint. This was probably due to it's magnitude and it's positioning closer to the horizon. I actually had to use AV to find this one, and with AV it appeared and disappeared in the manner of a flickering candle flame. The color was hard to determine, but I would lean toward orange-red.

AV not required for detection, but helps give definition. Edge on galaxy. Not getting much for a core, though a minor gradient is noticeable.

Took a bit of time with AV just to be able to detect it. Seems to be elongated, but not quite edge-on. Can see a bright speck of a core.
- Target: NGC 3079, MCG 9-17-10

AV was required for detection, but it popped pretty easily. Seems close to edge-on. Not getting much of a gradient.
