My first target with my new 13mm 82° eyepiece! Very faint, any fainter and I would not of been able to detect it without AV. Using AV helps brighten the core a little, other than that, the brightness seems pretty uniform across. This was my third attempt with this target. The first time I could not see it at all, the second time I confused it with the nearby star cluster. Not sure if the quality of the eye piece helped (I've been using a 35 dollar zoom eyepiece until now), or if the conditions were better tonight.
