Hello again, it's been nearly a year since my last public writing. During this time, I've been deeply involved in supporting my parents through the process of adopting my niece and nephew, who had previously been in the foster care system since may of last year. In the midst of this, I found myself living in a tent due to the kids each needing a seperate bedroom. During that time I have been simplifying my life and reflecting on what truly brings me contentment. We finally got them adopted last christmas, and life is just now starting to settle down.
I lost access to my tilde.team, and the maintainer never got back to me. So, I decided to look for a more reliable host. Thankfully, envs.net has been fantastic so far! At some point, I think I'll have to figure out a self-hosted solution, but I'm not quite ready for that yet. In the meantime, Im grateful to be here and have a place to put my thoughts into public writing. I see this move as an opportunity to start fresh and clear the clutter from my digital space. I will move over the best articles, perhaps even rewriting them.
Since July, I've been exploring the fascinating world of self-hosted AI. I'm excited to share my experiences and insights through upcoming articles, as I believe we're already on the frontier of a new computational revolution. My first in-depth piece will delve into this very topic.
