Kono Sekai wa Fukanzen Sugiru (QA in another world) first season review

Turns out it's hard to have a full-time job and keep up your own blog. But I still managed to watch some anime in meanwhile. And having finished final episode of it's first sesaon, I want to share my spoiler-free thought on first episode of QA in another world.

This is a example of "Stuck in a MMO" subgenre of isekai, but it seems like it unlike many of it's collegaues, it doesn't kill it's premise with bullshit cheat ability or uninspiered video game mechanics. In fact, it actually uses those to great extend.

Main character, Haga, is a QA tester, hiered to test full-dive VRMMORPG. Things were going all-right untill it turned out that he and his coworkers cannot log out. Now he, and NPC village girl Nikola go on adventure to find out a way to escape this world.

This is a servicable hook, but story's main gimick is Haga's knowlege of and ability to exploit various glitches that this world has. Throughout this shows 13 episodes, this was used in variety of interesting ways that didn't made Haga into god-like figure that is never in danger. Interaction between characters are also good, even if they are nothing that wasn't already done before.

I recommend that you watch it and will wait for second season.
