Midnight Pub

breakfast babbles, coffee slurps, and the weather that cools down slowly

~tffb

I enter the bar.

Looking around. I hear noises about, see no patrons in sight.

Confirming a clear path to my favorite stool, I make my way, sit, two fingers go into the air to motion to ~bartender - a coffee, please. Thank you.

61F this AM. A treat. getting to 78F, not so great, but tolerable. Not as bad as 108 for several hours of the day.

56F in the AM tomorrow. The mug steam rolls high on those mornings.

Smudge paces in front of me. Demanding pets, I maneuver the mug around his turning tail. Caffeine must be had, first thing.

Labor Day. A day to acknowledge labor by not doing it. fair

fall is soon. Bear are about in Farmington. Scat and sightings all the time from locals, and sightings OF scat on the backroad behind my apartment last Friday. Black bear that are scared of everything, but I not of them.

The back alley of the outer web lacks creatures as this. Cats and packs of wild dogs can be seen in/around The Midnight alley. Neon glitz to lure passer's by in the light of the glowing sign. I am reminded of the ad hoc "remodel" of the pub in this post: https://i.snap.as/Ig4kh666.png

A bit "cleaner" from the ASCII art atop the page now, but I am not to step on one's art nor their service. Just a humble contribution.

long sips of coffee and Smudge pets starts this day right

hello all

I've half a mind (this reply could have accurately ended there..) to dub thee "Mr. Cleaner": the deity of cleaner ASCII content dishes.

Glad to be done with August. Similar temps here.

I can get a little sad that it turns out that zero words comports peace of mind.

Words 'n madness. Don't you love 'em madly?

The time to hesitate is through!

Labor-less Labor Day suggests a wordless Word Day.

It's okay to sling 'em, just don't believe 'em!

And the embarrassment of excessive exclamation point remains a thing!
