Beautiful night! Conditions started out great and slowly began diminishing as the wind picked up.

Easy to find and detect. Some-what elongated and edge-on. AV is giving me some good definition and shape. The center brightness tapers off at a steep gradient.

8:35PM

- Target: NGC 1491, Sh2-206

- Const: Perseus

- RaDec: 04h03m +51°18

- Type: Nebula

- Scope: AT102ED

- Setting: 55x, Ultrablock

Undetectable without the Ultrablock filter. With the Ultrablock, the glow is very evident, but the shape would not resolve without AV. AV also brought out some specks of light in the center. I'm getting an indication of noise outside of the visible glow that I've drawn, it's possible this is much larger than what I can observe.

8:54PM

- Target: NGC 936, MCG 0-7-17

- Const: Cetus

- RaDec: 02h27m -01°09

- Type: Galaxy

- Scope: AT102ED

- Setting: 55x

Getting the impression of a fatter ellipse. Bright speck of a core.

9:16PM

- Target: SAO 129989 (HD 16115)

- Const: Cetus

- RaDec: 02h35m -09°26

- Type: Star (Carbon)

- Scope: AT102ED

- Setting: 55x

Yellow with maybe a touch of orange. All the stars in the FOV have the shape of a doctor's stethoscope.
