A few years ago, I was a huge fan of the Darkest Dungeon game. I used to spend a lot of time looking at guides or testing different team compositions to find the best way to destroy each challenge the game would send my way.
Recently, a friend of mine discovered the game and we played a bit together, he would explore the game while I was next to him answering his questions or guiding him through battles he didn't know how to win. And it made me want to play once more, after nearly two years of not even thinking about the game.
If you've never played this game, or even if you've never heard of it, I recommend checking the official release trailer from seven years ago :
(https) You can find it here on Youtube
If I had to explain it like I was writing a wikipedia description, that's how I'd do it:
Darkest Dungeon is a gothic RPG set in a procedurally generated medieval world.
The player controls a group of heroes as they venture into twisted, haunted dungeons. The game is known for its challenging difficulty and emphasis on psychological stress.
Heroes must not only battle monsters and other enemies, but also contend with the mental toll of their perilous journey.
Players must also manage resources, recruit new heroes, and upgrade their equipment in order to survive the game's challenges.
You can find a LOT of people who played the game on Youtube. I wouldn't recommend watching a full Let's Play since part of the fun lies in the discovery of the game, but for those who still want to watch some gameplay, I would recommend this gamethrough:

Watch a video or two, and maybe try the game after!
Pour les francophones, ce let's play par Alderiate est vraiment chouette, il joue avec les DLCs donc vous pourrez savoir si le jeu vous intéresse !

I've seen what it looks like, I intend to play it in the future, but for now the first game still has some fun time for me, so I will keep playing it for a bit before trying the sequel.
