Hello Geminiusers! Today is wednesday, more precisely the 25th day of January 2023, and I figured I might make a new post here, just for the sake of writing something to take my mind off work.
Did you know that in French, "wednesday" is called "mercredi"? Well, now you know.
I'm getting myself a new tattoo later today! Yeay! Not sure where or when I'll end up showing it, but I might post it somewhere on Fediverse!
For those of you who don't know where to make some cool ASCII art, I have the perfect website for you! It allows you to generate ACSII art as text you can simply copy and paste in a quote block, just like I did at the top of this page.
Since Gemini is aimed at being very simple, I might add a lot of those (at least once per gemlog!) so I figured you might enjoy being able to make yours too.
I'm sure most of you already know how to find those fancy Ascii texts but again *just in case*.

I've read multiple posts and articles about phishing recently. It feels like more and more people get scammed and not only because they don't know how to check if something is phishing or not, but mostly because they don't necessarily pay attention to what they are receiving.
That's why even though I'm not the best person to explain how to recognize phishing, I'm sharing with you those two sources that will hopefully help understand how phishing can be recognized and how being tired or inatentive can lead to not noticing something being phishing.

Si vous êtes curieux, il existe une communauté francophone d'utilisateurs de Gemini. Notamment les communautés d'underworld.fr
Ils ont également publié ce gemlog contenant suffisament d'informations pour se lancer sur Gemini :

I kinda like the idea of gemlogs, simple and accessible blogs. I'm sure that there's something interesting to do with the Gemini protocol, we'll see!
