This is starting to become tiresome, and I'm really not loving having to do these longform segments of content, particularly for the man I'm discussing, but I suppose documentation is important. Anyways, I found out who Nathaniel Peacoat WIlliams is. He's an international drug dealer. He ends up meeting the protagonist later on. Transcript provided below
...
I find a big chasm, and it's filled with all of the seven wonders of the world. Gems as large as human skulls. Riches beyond imagination, all littering the stone floor of this large opening. This was once owned by a drug dealer named Jonathon Harrison, before he died of Kent Fever. It's unclear who's in charge now. I crawl down the chasm as quietly as possible, trying desparately not to make too much noise. I hear a noise from below, a sort of scratchy sound. A smoker's voice tries to make it's way up to me. "You will die down here," the voice calls with the largest voice it can muster. "Death becomes..." The voice fades out after that. I continue crawling down, before I see the face of the man who called, his limbs entangled in the rocks, unable to move.
I recognize his face from pictures, a portrait in an old gallery back when I was working as a pet store owner. Nathaniel Peacoat WIlliams, international drug dealer, lying here dead next to me. My name never travelled beyond the borders of any one individual town. His did, and now he lays unconscious before me. There's no getting him out now. I'd send him down food but that would only increase his suffering. I'm not sure whether or not to kill him or to continue down the cave, hoping he never wakes up. I never find out the correct answer to that conundrum. There is no answer. But blood pooling down into the cave would blind my vision, so I continue downwards, listening to his gasping breath. Maybe on the ways up I'll finally grow the courage to do it.
