Gemini meetup?

1. alex wennerberg (alex (a) alexwennerberg.com)

Hey all, now that the world is sort of opening up again, how would you
all feel about a Gemini meetup? I am located in the Bay Area, I wonder
if there's enough folks here to put together a small group. I'm not sure
if I have the resources to organize such a thing, but just wanted to
float the idea.

I am close enough to the bay to be able to make it, so I would be down.
If we can get enough folks willing perhaps we could find a place that's
somewhat central to where enough of us are at.

I'm in the South Bay Area, and would be down for a meetup. It's probably
best to wait another month or two while vaccinations roll out.

I'm cool with meeting over something like Mumble until then, though.

I'm in Oakland and anything I can reach by bicycle, bus, or BART would be great.

Sounds reasonable actually, it's pretty easy to get to Bruxelles from most places.

I'd think we'd have to probably look like August with how slow most of
Europe is moving with vaccination (looking from France especially)

I might be able to do that in 2022, but for now I doubt I can make any meetups!

Sure!

Some carnets around that:

Otherwise I am more than happy to provide hosting at HSBXL.

Great idea! But neither the Bay Area nor Brussels is close to my location.

Anyone else here from West Virginia?

Best regards from Charleston (WV),

I'm within range, but I'm not going to have time until next month.

+1 for public transit access. I'm up in Washington and would love to
take Amtrak down rather than drive through SF traffic.
