I've just finished "Morgan is my name", by Sophie Keetch (first published 2023)
It's the first book of a trilogy retelling the Arthurian legends from the point of view of Morgan, Arthur's half sister.
The premise of the book is that Arthurian legends have been told from the point of view of men - and in that view, Morgan, a strong willed woman striving for independence and freedom, has often been made into villain.
This is the story told from her point of view.
If you find that premise interesting, I'm pretty sure you'll like the book, it very much lives up to it.
The story is very linear, following Morgan as she ages - it's been a very long time since I read Arthurian romances, I'm assuming it is written in the same style. There are a few lengths, it borders into gender essentialism once or twice - but overall I found it's a really good book I highly recommend!
