@istvan Well, a 32-bit Windows build would be mostly a matter build environment gymnastics. I am preparing a MinGW build for later that should be easier to compile also for 32-bit.
Other niche operating systems are more of a challenge. SDL is required in any case. I gather MorphOS does have a port of SDL. It would be nice to see a survey of the number of potential Gemini users on various uncommon OSes... Also, I'd have to somehow set up the OS in question for testing and development, and that might take too much time on its own.
That's a certainty. MorphOS is a problem because it's PPC based, so it would require a PearPC emulator, and then there is a 30-minute time limit unless you purchase it.
I was trying to build it for OSX 10.4.11 (the last Tiger on 32bit PPC) with development libraries from homebrew but could never get around the compile errors :(
Those two operating systems are the toughest place for Gemini that I've found. Since everyone wrote clients in the new fad languages (go/rust/etc) none of them can be compiled for that architecture.
One guy wrote a very barebones Gemini client for AmigaOS4 CLI that runs on MorphOS, and for Tiger the only option is AV98.
Best option on both is amfora over SSH.
A new gemlog post with Gemini project updates: Lagrange v1.18 is shaping up, GmCapsule got a couple of fixes and new features, and Bubble supports Titan editing.
