As I mentioned in my last post, I'm very new to gemini (I doubt that anybody read that though, or cared for that matter (thanks to those who did welcome me though!!)).

Hi @flat! Have you tried checking out the Gemini FAQ? It goes into some pretty decent detail and should explain a lot: gemini://gemini.circumlunar.space/docs/faq.gmi · 1 year ago

we are all learners, i have learnt much using the gemini protocol first here, and then learning how to run server software, then running that on a small home server.

if you want to publish your own articles: possibly you could look around capsules that run server software written in a computer language that you have some knowledege of, or that you might want to learn.

most capsules have posts about the software used and how it is set up. you might then copy that method on a standalone computer before trying with runing that on a server. enjoy your learning journey. · 1 year ago

Sorry if this is hard to understand btw, English isn't my native language.

I'm also sorry for splitting this up in to so many parts, the original post didn't fit in 1024 bytes.

I do want to learn, though, but I find a lot of this overwhelming and don't know where to start, does anyone have any good articles or something to read up on regarding Gemini / internet protocols in general that are good for beginners?

With that being said, I thought this would be a good place to ask:

I'm not experienced with anything like gemini / Internet protocols (or much tech stuff in general), and I seem to be a lot less experienced than most people here
