Didn't Google define a protocol for feed updates that changed it from pull to push that never caught on? I think that was called Pubsubhubbub

@alexlehm Possibly Google did that. There’s a lot of protocol activity around post aggregation. But it seems like there’s not a lot of innovation around a useful view. Apologies for the web link, but I had some thoughts on feed views.
