Dutch Connection

Ingredients

1 oz genever
1 oz Lillet
3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
1 oz tonic syrup (or use tonic water in place of soda later)
5 oz soda or tonic water
Garnish: grapefruit or lemon twist

Procedure

Mix all ingredients except soda or tonic water on ice in a highball. Top with soda or tonic water.
