Dumbest idea of all time: a "notepad" function on the side bar to help you draft up BBS replies (or any other text you have to send through Gemini in general) before submitting

It makes some sense to have a scratchpad/notepad in the app, especially if it also counted the percent-coded length of the text. However, most operating systems / platforms have some simple text editor or notes app for drafting text.
In a pinch, the bookmark dialog has some text fields for free-form notes that could be kinda useful here, too.
