I do hate 'ATTABOY'...
I don't know why YOBBO has not been removed. It is a britishism for lout, yokel, or even hoodlum. Perhaps I am amused by its apparent origin of reversing 'boyo', or possibly by its pronunciational proximity to the Russian curse.
TOBY (n), often 'toby jug', is a small jug, pitcher, or mug shaped somewhat like a stout man with a cocked hat for the brim. It has to be the strangest thing described by a short word. Last seen in Dec. 5 puzzle...
Another day.
