According to Trader Joe's: Intense cocoa flavor with an exciting bitterness.
My take: 70% Cacao. Smooth cocoa flavor with a different kind of bitterness. It's hard to explain what's different about it. It's almost like the bitterness is disconnected from the taste. It's almost a bitter aftertaste rather than a bitter flavor.
It also has hints of other flavors. Faintly fruity. Faintly...earthy? Not strong enough to really be noticeable.
Overall it's a pretty good chocolate, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
