Play Wordo (yesterday: QUEST)

ABLOOM AGOG ALBUM ALGA ALGAL ALUM AMALGAM AMMO BAAL BABA BALAM BALBOA BALL BALM BAMBA BAMBOO BAOBAB BLAB BOLA BUGABOO BUMMALO GAGA GALA GALAGO GALL GAMBOL GAMMA GAOL GLOAM GLOBAL GOAL GUMBALL LABLAB LAMA LAMB LLAMA LOAM LUAU LUMBAGO MAGMA MALL MALM MAMA MAMBA MAMMAL MAUL MOMMA

Missed: GLAM, BOBA

'GULAG' was suggested, but intentionally not included as its a Russian acronym, spelled in all caps or partial caps (ГУЛАГ, ГУЛаг). Although it is becoming a common-use word for a political prison in English. It irks me, so I rule to leave it out.

BAAL, BALAM - supernatural beings from different places.

BALBOA: a unit of Panamanian currency. I am still on the fence about money, but it's kind of quaint now that it's all turning into Euro and Dollar, and it is a part of culture and can be encountered literature. There is a lot of it, and I only have some, so I have to make a final decision. For now, your money is good here.

BOLA - a cord with weights, for entangling enemies or animals. I thought it was 'bolo', but that is a cutting weapon...

BUMMALO is not a lazy buffalo, but not much better: bombay duck (?), aka bummalow, bummelo, and even bumbalo (talk about polluting the dictionary!)

CAGA: Crazy, foolish or 2: marked by wild enthusiasm

GALAGO is a reallu cute creature aka 'bush baby'

GAMBOL: to skip about in play, frisk, frolic; also (n) one who does that.

GAOL is the British spelling of 'jail'

GLOAM: archaic twilight

LABLAB: Hyacinth Bean (didn't we just have it?)

LUMBAGO: acute or chronic pain in the lower back

MALM: a limestone, or a mixture for brick-making. I swear I own a piece of Ikea furniture called 'Malm'...

MAMA/MAMMA/MOMMA often occur together...

Whew!

Another day.
