The Office isn't Bad

I always hated the idea of offices, but I’m liking this one.

I don’t like the sleep depravation, or travel, but it’s a nice office. There’s free orange juice. But more importantly, I’ve just started and I’m very confused about a lot of things. I had `training’ as far as was possible - video courses, looking over the documentation - but nothing really compares to being around people actually doing the job, swapping ideas, or just passively absorbing how they talk about problems.

(This being Serbia, they talk about problems by shouting “Јебем ти сунце”, meaning ‘I fuck your Sunlight’)

Everyone works they they want. Some people come to the office every day. Others never. Most people a few days a week.

It’s a nice balance, and I think I’ll go in every day once I know what I’m doing, but I don’t think I’ll stop going in any time soon.
