Hello! Hello. Hello?
Anyways, hi! Welcome to my humble (secondary) abode. This is my first time ever getting into Geminispace, so this is kinda new and exciting!
If you're reading this, this means you probably have either too much time on your hands or you're an absolute turbodork (that's not a bad thing!). Either way, welcome!! I hope you can resonate with something on this capsule. Feel free to take a look through the other sections if the blog ever bores you.

The motivation to start up this capsule came from me:
1. Remembering that I had a Gopherhole set up on my web server,
2. then remembering that Gemini exists,
3. then considering setting up Gemini on my server instead,
4. then remembering that the webgroup I'm a part of has Gemini on its server already so I made a capsule on that, instead.
Pretty simple, really! I also have a HTTP site (or 'Web site' for short) as well¹ but it's became a bit of a pain to edit (mostly because I have a ton of ambition and the SSG workflow I've been using is super tedious and takes forever to re-render my site after each minor change), so Gemini is kind of a breath of fresh air for me. Mostly because it's just text. (And links to images, but mostly text.) Reminds me of the _early_ early web. Like, pre-GeoCities-dominated-by-college-professors web.²

I've noticed a lot of the capsules seem to be focused around web/tech nerd stuff (which I mean. It _is_ an alternative 'net protocol so of course it's gonna attract nerds (like me)), but I like to focus on more of the pop culture nerd stuff, like webcomics and music. And web design. If that counts. I'm gonna try to post about that here, but: the problem is that I don't know what I should post here or what I should post on my Web site. If I post a list of my favorite albums of all time, would that be better on *here,* or on www dot sprite clad do t com???
I'll probably just play it by ear, lol. Maybe just partially use this 'sule as a dumping ground for rough drafts or exhibits that aren't fleshed-out enough for the website. We'll see!!
Either way, hopefully I won't forget about this place for eight months before I post something else here. No promises, because ADHD is garbo. :P
