Tater Tot Hotdish

Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 medium yellow onion diced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 (15 oz.) can French style green beans drained
- 1 (15 oz.) can corn drained
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 French onion soup mix powder packet
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 5 lbs. frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Lightly grease 9x13 inch baking dish. Set aside.
- Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add onions to the skillet. Saute for 4-5 minutes or until onions are translucent.
- Add garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring frequently.
- Mix cooked beef, corn, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, worcestershire sauce, and 1 cup of shredded cheese in bowl.
- Heat 1/2 cup of water and mix in French onion soup mix packet to water.
- Mix that heated 1/2 cup of water with French onion soup mix powder into ground beef mixture.
- Transfer ground beef mixture to the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly.
- Top with tater tots.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown.
- Turn off oven, place remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese on top and place back in oven to melt the cheese.
- Serve immediately when cheese is melted.
