Sauerkraut Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Servings: 1

Ingredients

2 slices of bread
2 slices of cheese (or enough cheese to cover each slice of bread)
Sauerkraut
Mustard (I prefer dijon, but yellow is fine)
Butter

Instructions

Evenly spread mustard on one side of both slices of bread
Place cheese on each slice of bread, on top of the mustard
Put sauerkraut on top of one of the cheese slices, then close up the sandwich so the sauerkraut is between both slices of cheese
Butter the outside of both slices of bread
In a frying pan, cook the sandwich until the side that is cooking is crispy and golden brown, then flip the sandwich over and continue cooking the sandwich until the second side is also golden brown
Serve immediately after cooking
