Both are easily seen and can both fit in the FoV at 55x. NGC 5033 is the galaxy to the south in the sketch. It was a little more dim. NGC 5005 is the galaxy to the north. It was brighter and the core was visible.
Long, AV does much to help the size and shape. No core is visible.
