I'm not sure if I'm learning more about the connections between Linux machines or the connections between people. Right now, my attention is focused on a small victory in the realm of tech – a one-nil win in the alceentro ball game between me and the test machines during the Samba deployment. But there's another challenge on the horizon, and it involves our Satellite system, which has all our machines nestled in its belly. I need to configure the subscription-manager to tap into its repositories and kickstart various operations. Our Satellite system is pretty impressive, but my first mission is to figure out how it talks to the outside world. Is it like a super advanced Foreman? I think so.

In the meantime, I've got other tasks on my plate, like tackling a dusty Ingres database that hasn't seen any cleaning action for a whopping two years. So much to do, so much to understand, and this constant battle with impostor syndrome doesn't help!

This week is a big deal – on Friday, we're swapping out our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and I'll be on-site for at least two days to make sure everything goes smoothly. We've got to do it right, but luckily, I won't be flying solo. It's almost the end of Monday again, and a fresh week of challenges and opportunities awaits.
