Settling into Gemini

The almost complete lack of formatting in “Gemtext” makes writing tools very easy. I wouldn’t even consider setting about to write an HTML parser because HTML is a “standard” like whales are oranges.

But, I wrote a little tool today that allows me to email posts into my glog (yep, apparently that’s what we’re calling Gemini blogs. Not to be confused with Gopherspace “phlogs”, natch). It was pretty easy and now I can use any email client as my editor which will make managing the whole thing easier.
