A partial halo coronal mass ejection (CME) was observed in LASCO/C2 coronagraph data starting at 03:48 UTC on June 24th. The CME is directed primarily to the southwest from the Earth's perspective and is likely associated with a prominence eruption from behind the southwest limb. Based on the source location, no Earth-directed component of this CME is expected.
