An X1.2 class flare was observed on the south east limb, peaking at 00:57UTC January 06. This region has just rotated onto the disk over the last day and was also responsible for a number of high level flares when it was still beyond the limb. Further M and X class may occur as it rotates further onto the visible solar disk.
