Low-tech improvisation

I wrote my last entry on a phone, sat on a park bench eating my lunch. It seemed a weird moment. Perhaps because I've had so few opportunities to people-watch recently.

Anyway, I was able to capture what I saw and upload it without planning. No special client was required. I could improvise a solution, sat on a park bench, using only the tools in my hand. This is the advantage of Gemini's aggressive minimalism.

I'm trying to maintain minimalism with this capsule too.

I've avoided extra build steps - knowing that code will happily consume all my time - and instead I update the navigation and atom feed by hand. Dropping atom would make life even easier, which is why I'm excited by the new Gemini feeds convention. Instead of always asking "could a machine do this?", I think the Gemini community is asking "could a human do this?" - and it's refreshing!
