@coldcalzone My thoughts exactly! Sad that it got abandoned and too many crucial things are still missing. You can enable mouse support by changing one line: it enables you to switch tabs and scroll the text, you can even highlight the links with mouse cursor, but you still have to reach out for enter to open them. It's a bit buggy, but usable! This makes it a nice browser for read-only mode, but having only one line for input and not being able to see what you're about to submit and absence of in-page search make it uncomfortable to use in a lot of cases.
I wish someone would pick it up and add those — not a lot to do, but it would feel finished. · 1 week ago
I actually quite liked the configurability! I'm very used to editing files like that. My issue with Amfora was just some missing features and it being in maintenance mode. I couldn't even get an android client working until Lagrange, and using the same thing across platforms just makes things easier. · 1 week ago
I think there's value in these kinds of tools that let you customize it to extreme levels, but I know most newcomers are not the kind to value that. Lagrange is easy to install, let's you manage certificates in a non-archaic way, and just works! No $XDG_CONFIG_HOME-stuffing to make it usable... · 1 week ago
aaaand it was painless. Truly incredible how there can be so many, so bad tools. · 1 week ago
