A partial halo coronal mass ejection (CME) has been detected around 18:48 UTC on July 31 in LASCO/C2 coronagraph imagery. It is likely associated with an M5.3 flare peaking at 18:37, from NOAA AR 3768. The CME is mostly directed to the west. Due to the estimated location of its source region, it is not expected to have an Earth-directed component. Further analysis of the event is ongoing.

A halo coronal mass ejection (CME) has been detected around 06:40 UTC on August 01 in LASCO/C2 and LASCO/C3 coronagraph imagery, lifting off the west limb with an estimated velocity of 1100 km/s. It is most likely associated with an M8.2 flare from NOAA AR 3768, starting at 06:20 UTC and peaking at 07:09 UTC on August 01. Current analysis suggests that a potential glancing blow could arrive at Earth around UTC midday on August 04.
