Gemini is an internet protocol that is focused on being minimal and privacy focused. It isn't meant to replace the normal internet, but it is meant to co-exist with it. As you've probably noticed, it is primarily text based, and doesn't have quite as much flare as the normal internet does. In fact, it might remind you of the internet from the 90s. That is intentional, as it is meant to provide a simpler internet, and remove all of the unnecessary stuff. This is also to provide a more private internet experience where companies don't track your every move.
