Converted vans are pretty cool. Last year I lived in one for a couple months, and I spent the past week visiting friends/working remote/cruising.
It takes *a lot* of organization to live in one full time. Having a home base (or friends) to drop in on is almost required in a vehicle as small as the one I have. An awning is also 100% worth it on rainy days.
With fuel prices going the way they are, I don't know how much longer I can do this. 1729km@10km/L -> 170L@2.98$/L -> ~$500 on gas in the past week.
No I don't normally drive 1700km per week. I normally live in a flat and bike 15km to work :) · 2 years ago
Van/converted vehicle life very much is what Im into as a short term goal. It is quite realistic for my needs. Camper-gang :) · 2 years ago
