@norayr it's actually the syscall (for making indirect syscalls) syscall that was removed.
indirect calls? interesting, xz backdoor was using glibc ifunc, again a function for indirect calls. no idea if it is completey ibplemented in glibc or glibc uses imilar kernel level system call.
sysupgraded all my boxes, all working fine.
For anyone not aware 7.5 has now been released :)
