anyone have a good listing of Unicode icons I can use on Gemini that doesn't require sifting through 300 pages of characters?

hmm yeah both fair points. I like all the neat icons / glyphs / emojis I see around Gemini but slogging through the full Unicode list is tiresome. I'll see what my Linux machine has. ยท 1 year ago

If you're on Linux there's usually an "emoji selector" app that either somes pre-installed or can be easily added through the package manager. That's what I would suggest. ๐Ÿค

Like @rellwood said, I think emoji character support may vary depending on which browser you're using to view Gemini. ๐Ÿ’€ ยท 1 year ago

I doubt that you'll be able to come up with a difinitive list. It really depends on the client software and the font it's using. Some may be able to show virtually any modern glyph and others may be restricted to basic ASCII. I'd suggest you include the glyph you want to show but have a way for visitors to understand what's going on if it isn't shown to them. ยท 1 year ago
