Hi Geminauts,
I wonder if it would be possible building a Gemini front-end for Diaspora. Would it be?
Thanks πΊ

@mc Unfortunately I don't know a bit about programming... :( Β· 3 years ago
@gnuserland Perhaps you could adapt it to Diaspora. Β· 3 years ago
@mc that's interesting although I don't use Mastodon... Β· 3 years ago

@lykso yeah we do. good luck though! πβΊοΈ Β· 3 years ago
@defunct I think we have different definitions for usable. :D
Even so, I think I could prototype a messaging UI that wouldn't suck so much... I need to do this. I keep putting it off, but these ideas are sticking around, so... this week, maybe, I'll make some UI proofs of concept. Maybe they'll suck anyway, I dunno. Β· 3 years ago
I see... π
Even though I am an adult sometimes do daydreams like a child... π€ Β· 3 years ago
possible sure. feasible maybe. usable without http nope. a small 1x INPUT doesn't cut it for most things to be convenient. imagine a simple messaging logic. 1 input for the receiving user, 1 for subject, 1 or more for content. maybe if you plug in the titan protocol, dunno Β· 3 years ago
