update on my cassette recording plans: the recorder i have is utterly hopeless. I opened it up and scrubbed all the dirt off, cleaned the heads, checked the bands and its still sooo noisy. It's not a general hiss thing, in comparision to the self-recorded old tapes i have it's sooo terrible. I'll definitely check if I can get one with good noise suppression and/or a bias dial. Is anyone here really into the topic and do u have recommendations within a reasonable price limit?

i havent had more than 5 tabs or so open on my web browser for over a year now (since i mostly use private mode and they close automatically when the browser is closed) but my Lagrange tabs are a whole different story…
