Does anyone else wish that a client would support code highlighting? Preformatted blocks are open to client interpretation, so the optional "alt text" could be used for indicating the language as it is in Markdown. I think Gemini is a great medium for reference documentation, and this would make it more useful for that.

I opened an issue on the amfora repo to generate some discussion but so far nobody else has jumped in. I managed to put together a proof of concept using the chroma library... it has a couple of bugs but it's functional. · 3 years ago
