I also talk about interactions with this person to other people and gauge how they respond. you also have to find out how they like to talk. some people are fast talkers, some are complainers, some keep to themselves, etc. if you can match their style and mannerisms it's much easier to find common ground. · 9 months ago
it takes time. I generally assume people are genuine unless they show me they aren't. I look for non verbal clues and how they say things. depending on how they answer I will either share more or keep it to just pleasantries. more personal things I save for much later, depending on the person. · 9 months ago
