I'm starting the "Freedom of Protocols" Initiative. Read more here: gemini://auragem.letz.dev/devlog/20240305.gmi

As part of this initiative, I will be working on getting my search engine to crawl Spartan, Nex, Guppy, and Gopher, as well as working on server and client software for all of these protocols.

@kevachat Yes, I need to fix the certificate one day. It's served from the same Pico W that serves my capsule, hence same cert. · 5 months ago

where can I read about Guppy? thanks · 5 months ago

@mozz The only ones I know of are the ones by dimkr, I believe. I want to try writing my own server for it soon-ish though. It's the last one I need to create a server for, since my SIS server already supports Spartan, Nex, and Gopher :D

I believe Kristall and one other browser supports Guppy. Lagrange has an open PR to add Guppy support, but it hasn't been merged yet. · 5 months ago

Neat! Are there any public servers running guppy? · 5 months ago
