Sarwar, Surah 81: The Overthrowing (At-Takwir)

Surahs

[1] (On the day) when the sun is made to cease shining,

[2] the stars are made to fade away,

[3] the mountains are scattered about as dust,

[4] the young barren camels are abandoned,

[5] the wild beasts are herded together,

[6] the oceans are brought to a boil,

[7] souls are reunited with their bodies,

[8] questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive,

[9] such as, "For what crime were they murdered?"

[10] the records of deeds are made public,

[11] the heavens are unveiled,

[12] hell is made to blaze,

[13] and Paradise is brought near,

[14] then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds.

[15] I do not need to swear by the orbiting

[16] stars which are visible during the night

[17] and sit during the day, or by the darkening night

[18] and brightening morning,

[19] that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger

[20] who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne,

[21] obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust.

[22] Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness

[23] He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form

[24] He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen.

[25] The Quran is not the word of condemned satan.

[26] Where then will you go?

[27] This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind).

[28] So let those who want, choose the right guidance

[29] However, you will not be able to choose anything unless God, Lord of the Universe wills it to be so.
