Back in January of this year, I wrote a journal post titled "Site Update - Offline Accessibility" where I slightly touched on something I wanted for my site, a ZIP file of all of the contents of my site that could be navigated with a web browser or gemini browser like Lagrange.
Site Update - Offline Accessibility
Well, I did it, even if it took 6 and a half months. A backup of my website / Gemini capsule is available as a ZIP file.
This ZIP file is currently manually updated, although I might come up with a schedule to automatically make the ZIP files.
When unzipping vigrey.com.zip, a directory will be extracted called vigrey.com-YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ/ where the timestamp is an RFC3339 timestamp.
At the time of writing this, the entire ZIP file is about 13MB in size.
All links in the html and gemtext files are relative, so the site can be navigated locally. Just find index.html immediately inside of the vigrey.com-YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ/ directory to browse the website, or index.gmi to browse the Gemini capsule
