I want to constantly keep typing fresh by doing a multitude of exercises. While I enjoy typing up a storm directly from my brain I want to keep low pressure and only really do it when it feels "right" rather than every day. Sometimes I just want to mindlessly type until I can't anymore rather than having to flex my brain. I also like how typing a story feels. I am interested to see how much improvement a typing game can make compared to monkey type or even this gemlog writing. I'd love to find a typing manual or better yet a typing class. I am getting ahead of myself, however. I will also do more research into alt layouts again to make sure there aren't any new developments. I was thinking about maybe writing some stories here too as it would be another different type of practice. I had to take a break from writing this and actually found a letter-writing game however it uses a typewriter and has no delete button so maybe when I am really good I will try that. Hand exercises are going to be key but while I am at it why do they take better care of my whole body so that it may aid me in being a better typist?
I'm thinking hypnosis related either being instructed to type out mantras or lines. It could be hacking themed almost as if you're reprogramming yourself or someone else. it would obviously need spirals or some pretty patterns. they could react to your typing speed it could also be used as a warm-up or cool down so a fast typist is forced to slow down and think about how they are typing. I will make this happen even if I have to learn how to code myself.
I have generally been not taking the best care of my body, it's hard when your favorite hobbies are all in the door and sitting down. I am going to try and push myself to rollerskate more and to eat better. I have been exercising however it has just been running. I will look into hand exercises as I can definitely tell they are getting used to this much work those poor things. I need to look into knuckle cracking as it has also slowly become a bad habit. I need to remember my strength. I need to be reminded of my strength.
