SHOW day is the culmination of many plans but it cannot happen without
our volunteers at the end of the day, said secretary, John Hassett.
He was concerned this year that they clashed with Electric Picnic and
the Dublin Horse Show in the RDS last Saturday, August 17.
"I thought Ballyvoreen might lose some patrons to Stradbally and
Ballsbridge. The committees of Cappamore Show are humbled at the
support we received on show day. While I felt good vibes from Friday
night I was relieved on Saturday. We always emphasise to our volunteers
that they are the face of Cappamore Show on Show Day.
"Patrons may never meet the officers but they meet our committee
members and supporters at the gate and car-park. We were blessed this
year with the support of former, returning, and new members," said Mr
Hassett, on whose land the show is held.

Social media is a cruel place but the feedback from visitors to our
platforms was humbling, he said.
"We ensured traffic flowed. We were flexible in patrons requests and a
supported them upon arrival. Cappamore Show is a community event.
"We do not depend on large sponsors, our sponsors are made up of local
and national small businesses. We will ensure into the future as we
always have that we are one of the largest community led events in the
country. I would like to thank everyone for their support and look
forward to Cappamore Show 2025," said Mr Hassett.
