Milkshake Browser

It really took less than a day to lose my hope for Ladybird as a new browser.

This is a purely technical project. As such, it is not an appropriate arena to advertise your personal politics or religious beliefs. Any changes that appear ideologically motivated will be rejected.

That line, is significantly at odds with this one from their announcement:

But it's still very far from finished. We want to turn Ladybird into a browser that you can use every day for all your web-related tasks. It should be fast, stable, support web standards, and protect your privacy. A browser for you.

It's not a browser for me, or anyone: It's a browser for them specifically, and probably: for the status-quo.

The way I read it, it's one of two things: Either it's someone so naïve that they think there's such a thing as a non-political project in tech, or someone who benefits from the status quo and has no intention of changing it to the betterment of more people.

Neither of those two are someone I'd trust with a project like this.
