## Fri 19 Jan 2024 18:28:06 GMT - 1705688886 So I thought I'd go total cli care of Doom Emacs, Alacritty, dwm & Void. I tried doing a Void/Emacs login thing. I couldn't get it to work #FAQFLU (SHOCKER!). I've setup two virtual desktops in DWM, one for Emacs and one for playing music. I could use EMMS for playing music but it's so baroque. I mean I think it's ok!? But with a command line avalable at your whim inside Emacs and outside; EMMS seems a little redundant. With SPC TAB n you can open up a new Workspace open a terminal full screen and use whatever you want for music or any other cli thing you need. Although emacs can seems a little buggy at times. Escape sequences seem somewhat evasive, for me it kinda works(ish) becouse I'm using ZSH, it has a vim mode so you can escape it and then input Emacs keybinding to leave the window/buffer. __.;=====;.__ @hollowtep _.=+==++=++=+=+===;. ------------------ -=+++=+===+=+=+++++=_ OS: Void Linux x86_64 . -=:`` `--==+=++==. The same wifi that worked out the box (I think) #FAQFLU FIFTY MILLION last time I installed Void. I have therefore decided that LINUX IS UTTERLY UNLEARNABLE. It can be filed under Manhattan Project. I think for browsing cli et-al Emacs is probably unmached in it's feild. EWW the crapply named Web browser is actually really good, I'm liking that a lot. ELPHER is also really good, it's for GEMINI/GOPHER browsing, is it as good as amfora? Time will tell. I think if you can learn a few/edit a few shortcuts for txt based stuff you could live in Emacs. It's nice to be able to ripoff txt/code from all round the web without leaving the editor. P.S. It took three days to sort this system out. Two days failing #FAQFLU and a Morning Winning. I think my bios needed clearing out or some shit, any way that made things more weird. I couldn't save and exit, it was all complain-y and garbled. I fixed my wifi, ironicly by getting ridd of all the stuff that made it work last time round. LINUX IS UTTERLY UNLEARNABLE. Forever in your somewhat DSFADSFGAFGF HO-TEP!
