Gemini is an application-layer internet communication protocol for accessing remote documents, similar to HTTP and Gopher. It comes with a special document format, commonly referred to as "gemtext", which allows linking to other documents. Started by a pseudonymous person known as Solderpunk, the protocol is being finalized collaboratively and as of October 2022, has not been submitted to the IETF organization for standardization.

We got a "WPN TinyLog" featuring all local capsule's tinylogs, powered by `GTL`. Subscribe to it from `gtl` app by adding "gemini://woodpeckersnest.eu/wpntinylog.gmi" to the `subs` file in your home dir (~/.config/gtl/subs)

Installed `gtl` - gemini tiny log - on the server and made it available for all users
Initial (working) implementation of `gemini-mentions` (https://codeberg.org/bacardi55/gemini-mentions-rfc)

Started gemini server (`molly-brown`), installed `amfora` as a terminal gemini client and added first 2 users, "mario" and myself, "roughnecks"
