@lykso I beg pardon for my behavior, but you once was so kind to prepare me a modified gemlog.sh script suitable for FreeBSD.
The link expired because it took me too much time to test it out. Would you still be so kind to share that script with me?

@lykso looks like something wrong happened with the atom.xml file. Not sure if happened before or after the patch but I received an email from @ew0k kindly alerting me that something weird was happening with that XML file.
I left the poor @op @op2 looking for a fix... ๐ ยท 2 years ago
Fair. TBH, half my reason for leaving that comment was as a note to people who might read this thread in the future (myself included). :) ยท 2 years ago
@lykso I do not understand those stuff but I am glad were fixed, I was publishing from Linux rather than FreeBSD... ๐ ยท 2 years ago
Ah, I see. The regexes were the issue. Good to know!

Awesome. Looking forward to seeing what the trouble was! :D ยท 2 years ago
@lykso @op or @op2 created a patch! He will send it to @nytpu
YO!!! ยท 2 years ago
I'm having trouble reproducing the error on my OpenBSD box. I would guess that the call to "cat" on line 50 is somehow getting passed a string that doesn't correspond to a file (either an empty string or a string containing whitespace, by the looks of it), but I'm not sure how that would happen.
I would try making an empty gemlog directory and then copying the files from your original gemlog into it until you figure out which filename (if any) is causing the problem. Let me know what you find! ยท 2 years ago
@lykso last message... :D

I realize now that I probably never got the notification a week ago because mentions are case-sensitive. ๐ ยท 2 years ago
Oh nice... ๐ ยท 2 years ago
Sorry, I see you also tried to contact me a week ago. The file's long gone, but my changes were merged in upstream. ~nytpu's script should work for you now: https://git.sr.ht/~nytpu/gemlog.sh/blob/master/gemlog.sh ยท 2 years ago
