FEAR THE RIGHT! Thus I command you, not just because I'm corrupt (which I am) but also because I am the greater evil. In fact, I am the GREATEST evil: I command you to regard MY enemies with fear and scorn, which is what we all understand THE LEFT loves - not THE RIGHT, which promotes anti-evil values like solidarity, empathy, inclusion, and tolerance.
"Oh Great Transexual Willow, what is THE RIGHT and why do you want me to FEAR it?" What a silly question! THE RIGHT is NOT THE LEFT. "Where do these words come from? What do they refer to?" Stop asking questions! There is nothing more un-leftist than asking critical questions about politics. Eschew critique - EMBRACE EVIL!

I've been ignoring him. Last post I read of his was the one to which you're referring. The fact that I remembered seeing exactly that statement several times from self-regarding, low-information folks on Facebook years ago (before I left that platform) really sort of cemented him in my head as the sort of person I'd rather not expend my energy on.
I've been debating whether to create a custom UI for Station with muting support, or whether to just create another platform entirely. I've enjoyed this community up to this point, but it's really starting to seem like it won't handle growth well. · 5 months ago
@maxheadroom, I am a bird with two left wings and I love to shit everywhere because I am EVIL. You'll never hear a right-winger tell you to FEAR THE LEFT, because unlike me, right-wingers do not practice group-think (a term I invented, how dare you use it without my permission).
If someone tells you to FEAR THE LEFT, but not to FEAR THE RIGHT, that *doesn't* mean they are a right-winger! It means they are an enlightened thinker whose political views are fair and balanced, like the wings of a bird, which is a good and rigorous analogy for understanding politics. · 5 months ago
@justyb, All I wanted is to shine a light on politics and how it catches people minds. As people are not very good at reasoning. (me included) Thats why I drop these Idea's out there, the discussion that follows may or may not help to find answers. · 5 months ago
Also i was not saying to go along with the right-wing nonsense either.
The bird needs BOTH wings to fly and to drop it's shit on all of us. · 5 months ago
@willowf, it seems you made a perfect description of 'group-think'. When people all believe the same thing, and outcast anyone who dares to question the belief system.
I can be wrong, As I did not invent the term group-think. I'm not sure it's a good idea to be in such a tunnel vision · 5 months ago
I don't fear left or right.... i fear idiots and dumbasses... · 5 months ago
@justyb the latter
to provide context: i'm socialist-anarchist. I really don't care for policy and politicking. what seems more valuable and relevant to me is ethical code, action, and community. I am an enemy to no one, except those who seek to destroy me for wanting to benefit the good of all. people who seek to destroy those who want to help universally are an enemy to -everyone-. · 5 months ago
@justyb The point of the post is to be sarcastic and ironic :D · 5 months ago
I always find political posts interesting. I myself am very politically ignorant, so I try to keep my point of view to myself outside to say that I usually favor liberal to status quo.
So with that said, I have no idea what this post or the @maxheadroom one are trying to get at here. Is their some villian that we're trying to point out here or is this a tounge in cheek about usual political rhetoric? · 5 months ago
This post (a response to the post made by @maxheadroom) is meant to help clarify some of the finer points of the LEFTIST AGENDA - you know, that thing that we have on THE LEFT that we all unanimously agree on, since we are such a great evil and such a monolithic corrupting influence. · 5 months ago
